Sorry to hear of the loss of your friends sand relatives. The mermaid is so sweet. She is apparently feels the loss of her whale friend, but she remembers him and moves on with her dolphin friend. It's time for new beginnings. That's what the new year is about--moving forward. Lovely thought in this. Happy New Year. judi

Really nice poetry and great artwork. One of our building residents was just hit and killed crossing the street, so the year is starting on a sad note. Life is a cycle of events that we must wade through every day.

So sorry to hear about the passing of family and patients.
On a cheerier note, I could smell the salty sea, and feel the splashes on my face :) Oh how you make me wish I could go on a beach vacation. Our government in Alberta and Canada are killing us with taxes so it may be a long time before I ever get a beach vacay again. I will have to dream through posts like this one.
