I mean it's true. When you gotta go...you gotta go. Bathrooms are really essential though. Who would say no to them, but the circumstances may not be that great. Good job with the rhymes and the flow! I wish you good luck!

Hello Author! I have to say, this post, "When You Gotta Go-You Gotta Go" sure brings back memories!!! (and the not-so-sweet smell of Lysol covering the stench!) I only have one recommendation for you:
Your line with "flexible" is a bit awkward and may work better if you reword it to read more like, "If my living arrangements were flexible"
Your poem is definitely funny and should do well in this contest, good luck!

It's a promise I made to myself this year. Trying to be pickier about the star thing, still working it out.

(at least it wasn't personal, I just got 2 stars for what someone decided were my political views.) lol, there was no criticism on the actual structure of the work itself. hahaha! Gotta love it!

I have been there, done that. I am all for modern conveniences. The poet did a well in using the words in the prompt. Using eight disparate words in a poem is quite a challenge, one the poet dispatched with apparent ease. The poet also gave us a look on where some still are today, but definitely back a century. The humor is handled very dexterously. Good job.

Humanity has embraced vanity, with euphemisms for the rich and cultured.
For the rest of us, it is still: "As Time Goes Bye."
"A turd is still a turd, no matter what the word, we all remain the same, as time goes bye."
