Didn't miss a trick. Picked up on the situation and made the best of it. Just wondering...where is Jessica when all this is happening? Hope you got away for coffee before she saw you.

This was very humorous and cheeky and I enjoyed it! I think you did really well with the word count allowed and you created a fast paced yet very well worded and funny piece of writing. I enjoyed reading it.

An interesting case of mistaken identity? :) You created a fun response to this writing contest. Plus, you were able to get your story across in under the one hundred word challenge. I wish you lots of luck in the contest.

Well so much for love forsaken... Probably better that Jessica came to her senses and left him seems to me he is easily distracted.... Looking forward to 2019 and many more writing from you.

This one-hundred-word story about a first kiss between strangers, Rosy Lips, falls into the word count limit and presents an embarrassing encounter that was mitigated by Edward getting a free kiss.

...he forgot to remember.. (?)

LOL, I'm sure that has happened a few times. This was a really good contest entry, a lovely story in a hundred words can't be bad! Well done and I wish you much luck. :) Sandra xxx

This was hilarious. I've never kissed the wrong woman before--unless you can count my ex-wife of eighteen years. This is the second poem in this contest that included a train. Is this a trend? No bother, I like trains. Who doesn't like trains? They get you where you're going. Except when they don't, of course. Thanks for sharing your kiss with me. Okay, that didn't come out right. Don't worry, I don't have any STD's. Just a little 6:23 a.m. kissing poem joke. But seriously, good luck in the poemtest.

It sounds as if any blonde will do, as far as Edward is concerned. Appropriate, I suppose, considering this 'blonde moment' of his. He may have been nervous, but he's sure got a nerve!

Which band was it from the 60s who sang...
If you can't be with the one you love, honey, love the one you're with
love the one you're with
love the one you're with...
? Oh, yeah, it was Stephen Stills, I think...
Funny flash fiction story. And, it could happen.

Ha
I almost did this once. At a Chinese take away, my girlfriend (who is now my wife) was at my side but moved away. Another woman took her place but I missed this swap - until I distractedly turned to kiss 'her'. I just veered away in time - my wife saw me and thankfully thought it was funny...
Great story. Edward is lucky he didn't get charged with assault! A very lucky (and very fickle) man, indeed.
Great humour and I trust you will stand out at the booth because of it.
I wish you well
cheers
phill.
