This is wonderful. What a great way to spend time with your grandson. Both of you are very talented. I love your last line, "family affair" is fits this piece to perfection. Happy New Year.

This is a very well written and very nicely painted scene that your grandson painted. You used very good words that go well with the art work. He did a great job on this and so do you my friend. Love and blessings, Teri

Pam, thanks so much for sharing this great verse with us. I adore you painting that you collaborated with your grandson to produce. Vivid colors and the barren tree casts a dramatic effect over this post. Well done.

I can't remember how old your grandson is but I think I remember him as only quite young. In this painting he shows an amazing grasp of the principles of perspective. This is a road any cowboy hero could ride down as the words 'The End' come up on the screen.

Grandma's style is apparent in the tree, the sun, and of course in the tanka.

I can only imagine the fun you and your grandson had painting this picture. Making cookies is fun, too. The Tanka works very well for this fam'ly affair. Good job. Tell him he did a good job, too.

SEASON'S GREETINGS PAM: I like your posting here in that it expresses team work between family people. My son works with me in my writing endeavors. He is better than me. I always tell people that he is my business manager. Our kids are sooo smart...aren't they, Pam. You've got a good partner. I can relate to that...because I have one too. God bless. This is a very moving and descriptive piece. It illustrates the
joy of creating art, especially of sharing the creating and
joy with someone special.

Aww this is such a cute joint effort, and you tell a story within this poem of a family united and a deep love between grandmother and grandson. He has obviously inherited your purely artistic talent and I agree, he has done a marvellous job. How old is your grandson? Thanks for sharing your collaborative painting x
