This one-six-one, Atoll Lagoon, has the syllables in the right place and presents a moment and image that would definitely pull one's consciousness right out of his/her body. Nice.

-your perfect 1-6-1 poem gives me a sense of awe, beauty and peace

Ingenious verse. Oh, it is is 'sooooo' good with all those o-letters. Your 'atoll lagoon' is apropos the volcanic eruption now taking place in the Pacific.

I imagine that the effect of moonlight on the shallow waters of a coral lagoon is mesmeric, not just calming and romantic. Your short poem suggests something of this to me.
