This is a well written ephrastic poem. The monkeys seem to create a mountain pass that the sun is showing through that the girls are
watching.
Keep writing

A very abstract poem for an abstract painting. I see the two girls. I see the owl, but I also see two horses maybe even unicorns facing each other in the middle touching nose to nose butting heads. Each shows one eye on the side view here. The girl in the purple is picking her butt or itching it. Very interesting poem and fun to try and see in the abstract. Thank you for sharing this

A very well-written Tanka. The eye in the sky sees everything. Nothing is hidden from him. Everywhere we look in nature we cab find an eye in about everything.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

Hi, Pam. I must admit, I am not one of the ones who will sewe the eyes, except those of the owl, of course. The painting is beautiful however.

Just to be sure, what is your definition of "abstract painting?"

Good work. Bless you, Bob

One of the most beautiful painting I ever saw was a picture of maple trees in the autumn, with each colorful leaf applied with a palette knife. Enchanting. I can see what is described in the Tanka, a good form for this topic. "Abstract owl" is a good pivot line. Good job.

I don't see them as monkeys but two people in profile kissing. And that same area can look like an owl. I like how you make a puzzle in a painting and then describe it with a poem.

Wow! This is a beautiful poem! Where do you get the inspiration for your abstract pieces? The image fits wonderfully with the picture. You really think outside the box. Great job!

Hi Pam. Another interesting and very charming poem and oil painting. You have a unique style of painting that is relaxed and spontaneous. Such a joy to read and enjoy the visual. Marilyn
