Pleasant. People like beaches and blue water. Though seaweed stinks. Lots of descriptions and details. I wouldn't want to visit this place, but you succeeded in giving the reader a thumbnail sketch of the place.

Hello Author! I like your submission very much. I felt like I could have gone there on vacation and seen just what it was like there. A day in the life as it were. Nice job.

Thanks for the review Susan. It really is a magical place. On the west coast of Zanzibar, there is Stonetown with the palaces and narrow streets, wooden dhows in the harbor. The sights, sounds and smell of this ancient town are so exotic and evoking, but I prefer the sandy peacefulness of Jambiani. Cheers, judester

You have done a wonderful job of putting us there on Jambiani. I easily see myself joining the villagers who go to the beaches when the fishermen come in and later having lunch with one of the local families. GOOD ATTENTION TO DETAIL makes it easy to picture each scene. You are an excellent tour guide.

Thanks for the encouraging review Rod. Yes it really is magical. I usually stay for a couple months at a time, then when I return to regular life I am like 'whaa?' all squint eyed and confused. Like plunking Peter Pan in the middle of Times Square. I do have such wonderful memories. Cheers, judester
