What a beautiful poem and lush garden landscape. I enjoy this style of poetry a little better than the traditional three line 5-7-5. The first two lines are like a diving board, setting up the poem. My best to you and in the contest. I hope you are well and good.

A very well-written five-line poem. When we can have our own private garden where we can go to spend time with our memories and recall moments that long past.

A truly beautiful display of flowers. Memories are made of this. Each bloom holds a memory and every one after it. I loved your poem and best wishes in the 5 line poem contest. Happy Christmas.

Hello PoemsOfDD
Thank you so much for me putting such a beautiful image in my mind of the colorful garden that you show in (I take it that is your own art) has perfect syllable count in each of the five lines.

What a gorgeous picture - I guess of wisteria? It must be so fragrant. I like your metaphor of garden for the place where we can go to relive and enjoy good memories. I like the moments described as fresh "loving blooms."

This is a lovely 5-line poem. It resonates with me as I'm a gardener and sentimental. Memories (good ones ~ LOL) are treasured. I like your analogy to fresh blooms. I'm wondering, though, if it would be "past" or "passed." It seems either may work in that spot. Much luck in the contest with this fine entry. Marilyn

As we get older our memory garden changes from literal photo albums to the memories in our brains. The latter are harder to bring back. I like how the Speaker refers to her fondest memories as "loving blooms."

This is very beautiful, DD. Not only does the stunning photography set the reader up for a flowery verse, your poem pivots from fond memories to love as a blooming thing. Well done.
