I think you did one hell of a job in 150 words! Some of these entries I'm sure will be real flowery with folks bragging about achievements, which I fine I suppose but I prefer real life and a bit of humility. You have had success, sadness and struggles but prevailed. I'm impressed by 54 5k's in two years also especially after the set backs and surgeries I run a bunch of them but not that many in two years.

My goal was to get enough T-shirts to get a quilt made to show to the doctor who told me I'd never get out of a wheelchair. I appreciate the honor of the six star rating. Thank you for reading and reviewing my work.

Wow! Sure, the narrator wasted a lot of time in his youth, making wrong choices and taking actions that led to more wasted time in prison. But in the end, the impact seemed to have helped the narrator take a turn for the better--especially if he ended up putting substantial time and effort into earning two degrees. Amazing how so much of one's lifetime can be summarized as a comprehensive story in 150 words! Flow of sentences was somewhat choppy, but it seemed to complement the gruff underlying nature of the persona recounting the story.
