I'm beginning to really like Kyrielle poetry . I rate poetry on four criteria. If it rhymes, if it makes sense, and it invokes emotions within the reader. You hit all three marks. While i don't quite agree with your choice of weather, I can agree with your sentiments. Very nice job.

This is a delightful kyrielle even though I detest cold, dreary days. The Speaker seems content to enjoy the Christmas lights and curl up by the fire in her rocking chair. Your cadence is flawless and creates a joyful mood. Rod

Perfect in form for a Kyrielle and a good repeating line. I can certainly relate to this one today. Blustery winds and rain, and a tree down across our driveway yesterday evening.

I'm not sure how you can enjoy a day that you describe as dreary. In the first stanza, I do like (and understand) the juxtaposition of the grayness of the day with the twinkle of Christmas lights. The rhythm and rhyme throughout the poem works well.
