This is a terrific Kyrielle. I like a cold and dreary day once in a while, too. These are super nice lines:
"The water's dripping from the eaves
and pushing pathways through the leaves.
The wind creates its own ballet.
I love a cold and dreary day."

This kyrielle, Love This Day, has the proper format and shows the writer's emotions may work as a blues song works with sadness. The harsh weather, kept at bay outside, allows the lulls of life to wash away. Nice.

This is a great kyrielle, Mystery Author. The meter is super. It reads so smooth from verse to verse in a pleasing way. The picture is perfect, too. Your rhymes a great and the repeating line fits in seamlessly. How nice to be able to enjoy this kind of weather from the inside as well as the Christmas lights. I really like to see Christmas lights on cloudy days, too. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

This is a very well-written kyrielle that conveys a theme not
all can relate to--but I can! There is a certain beauty in a cold,
rainy day. Fortunate are we who have found it.

A very well-written Kyrielle about a cold rainy day, it is sometimes just what we need to take some time and just enjoy the day and relax until it is over then we have renewed energy to go on with normal days.

What an excellent version of a Kyrielle, and what a lovely point of view, seeing the brightness through the dark and not letting a dreary day bring you down. Thank you for my daily dose of optimism. You've followed all the rules of the Kyrielle, and done a lovely job on the rhymes, and I really enjoyed the image of the wind creating its own ballet.

    You're very welcome. Gray skies tend to bring me down, but I do enjoy listening to the rain hit the windowsill, and watching a good electrical storm.
