I'd say you've captured the beast in these six words. But it really doesn't win. Death has been defeated, Great job with this story!

This six-word story, When Cancer Wins, meets the challenge's word requirement and presents all the negative aspects of a cancer diagnosis.

This is really, really good! You told a whole story in 6 words.
What I enjoyed most (even though it is a sad story, but that's life, isn't it?) is that how you described the reality of cancer. It is an uphill battle; much of the time, there is a rapid decline, and death follows. What I'm trying to say is, I like the image of up, down, stop.
Great job and a perfect contest entry. I wish you the very best!!!!

In just six words the enormity of the impact cancer has on the lives of individual victims is well documented.
Sadly this scenario is all too often the rise and fall of this disease.
Well done.

kahpot, six words is all it takes to describe a scene that has no win or way out in the end. A very effective and succinct short piece that really carries home how one cannot control the outcome no matter how hard we try. ~DD

Good job with a very difficult challenge.
Rapid decent <-- Spelling: descent=going down | decent=polite, moral, tasteful
I had a decent time on my trip.
Our plane went into a rapid descent, but the pilot pulled out of the dive.

Excellent six-word poetry. You conveyed your message quite well in such a short piece.
My only critique is to post with a picture or art of some kind. This will help for frame your fine work and get a higher score. There are many good selections on fanart; just browse, select and paste when you are posting your article. Make sure your article is in preview mode, that way you can view what is going to look like and also choose a nice color for your formatting, as well. Read other people's posts and look at what they used. Outstanding formatting is given the higher rating and typically a contest winner.
I hope this helps. I want you to do well and be recognized.
All my best,
Sally

This is a excellent, though sad, six word story and entry for the contest
It has a beginning middle and end, and good contrast between up and descent
Well done
Good luck in the contest

You have written a very vivid and abrupt six words... this is a very good entry for the Six Words contest. You make a great point, even thought it is a sad point, the finality of a terminal illness. Well done.
