Good evening Pat, I really enjoyed the message that your poem conveyed to me. I'm not sure if you meant for it to have a specific meter or not but I expect that you did because it has a specific form and rhyming scheme.
When reading your poem I lost the flow. Your meter kept changing throughout until the last line was literally twice the length of the first. This is a fairly easy fix.
Your poem has a lovely sentiment and a beautiful story to tell. It is a gentle but true reminder of the things people should not do to others!

Hi Patricia. Your computer artwork is striking and the entire presentation of your well written poem is excellent. Well described flaws in the first two stanzas and change comes in stanza three. Nicely done. Marilyn

The 'coming of age' in Jesus. What a metamorphosis told as you passed God's test to acknowledge your rebirth. The picture is just perfect as the butterfly emerges.

It is amazing what the Love of God can do. I have seen people completely transformed by it. How fortunate we are to have a God who loves us so and forgive every sin. Well done Pat. Rox

What a wonderful poem, a story in a poem. I like how you you first descibed the character, and then how her life changed. Your artwork is beautiful perfect for the poem. I never looked at it like that, but you're right.

It is so true. Once we meet Him, we are no longer the same. The words of your poem express this beautifully. It flows wonderfully in both rhythm and thought. After reading your notes, I can see why you chose to use the butterfly. It fits perfectly. Well written!

Great job in illustrating how a life can be completely changed by Jesus. You give us great examples in the before and after and the verses are very well rhymed!

I could hear a bit of autobiography and admired your rhymed quatrains plus "iceberg" and "sword" similes. Thank you for complimenting your sonnet with your intriguiging "Butterfly Dance". Smiles- Joan
