Oy. My Worry Meter is now off the charts. Veronica has a LOT of work ahead of her. And so much to figure out! Plus she has to pick up Mildred somewhere along the way soon, too!! Can't stop reading yet!! xo

Hello Sandra,
Yet another excellent chapter in the book.

A nice little touch having Mildred come through the portal to talk to Ann.

Of course, we know that the Powers are in control of everything
so it seems some alternate-reality escape will become evident
Perhaps Veronica can go back to an earlier time and prevent the change

Oh what tangled webs we weave when from our own time we're made to leave
I still think V A Pembrock has changed the clock
Tock tick, tock tick, there's a crick in time
Someone changed the click of all space-time

Well done
Robert

I think you will like the next part, and what we find out. When you start delving into changing one small thing and what the rippling effect of that could lead to, it's really frightening. How do we know someone might be doing something right now to change our lives? I just don't trust these politicians!!! LOL. Thank you so much for another lovely review, my friend, and all your thoughts on what might happen. Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxxx

-Another excellent chapter, Sandra.
-It flows from beginning to end.
-We have Ver. distraught, James learns
a little of her situation, and Ann has
had a chat with Mildred in the room
where others, like Joe, have appeared.
-What more could go wrong?!
-Ann gets a bit frustrated with
her mum asking questions.
-As James listens to Ver., he has
a bit of his own history to relate;
if Britain wasn't successful in the
war, then James would not have been born.
-This, along with the war situation as it
stands now, is monumental.
-However, I think James will make
some discoveries in searching his
own background, and that will
lead Ver. on a forward moving path.
-Hopefully, that means re-connecting
with Mildred in the right time period,
and things as they should be.

I love reading your reviews, Pam, it tells me how much you truly enjoy the story, which is so encouraging and makes me smile. James is the best husband Veronica could have wished for, I'm glad I found him for her, lol. Now they have to see what clues they can find out in their world, our world.

Thank you so much, my dear friend, for another wonderful review. Lots of love and big hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

Oh dear, poor Mildred, stuck some place and it doesn't sound like a very nice place either. Another great chapter. Really enjoying this book and looking forward to the next chapter. Can't wait for this mystery to be solved. Rox

How on earth can I explain something that is so outrageous it comes into the realms of fantasy? Although I've seen it with my own eyes, it's still hard to believe. - yes, indeed, Veronica... because everything else up until this point has been so NORMAL - you nutter! lol

James gave me look that immediately made me wish - me a look.

"Where's aunty Mildred?" - should aunty be capitalised here? You do so later on.

we really did lose the first World War - same thing here with first.

Now that is quite a conundrum, isn't it? I'm sure it'll all be fine

LOL!! It's normal to them! LOL! I didn't look at it that way, :) when I wrote it. That's hysterically funny, isn't it!

Silly errors again, I'm glad it's nearly the end of the year, Santa is bringing me a new brain! Thanks so much, Gareth, for this review. It really did having me laughing my head off! :)) Sandra. xxx

Hi, Sandra,

A very informative chapter and you did a great job of relaying all of it in the dialogue between James and Veronica - with a little help from Annie.

It is a scary thought to think of what life would be like if history changed and the Germans won the first World War,

It could have been a real possibility, Patty, had we lost the Jutland battle. There's been a lot of information coming out about that, not all good and certainly not the way history portrayed it.

Thank you so much for the six stars, my friend, and the lovely review. Big hugs! Sandra xxx

Oh, Linda, you are being pulled in all directions ... you need to be cloned. How did your poor mother do that? It must have been so painful when it happened. What with your poor friend, oh, I do hate cancer, it's taken too many of my family, and still seeking out more. I can understand him being scared, I'd be terrified. Just the name sends terror into people. You will be shown what and where and when to do things, God won't give you more than you can deal with. Although, He does seem to giving you more than your fair share of problems. I'll have a quick word with Him. :))

Thank you for reading this part, my dear friend, even with all what's going on around you, you still find time to come on here. Yes, James is going to be very helpful, let's hope he comes up with something she can use! Biggest hugs, and loads of love winging it's way across the pond. Look after yourself, my friend, we can't have you being ill. xxxxx

my brother got her one of those walkers you can sit on when you get tired...but in the house she thinks she can make it from room to room...and if no one is looking...she tries not to use it...well!!! she tripped on her feet...and fell...my niece said I think she did it so you would comeback...LOL...I don't think she did...but I know she would love if I would go back...LOL...she is doing better today...they waited to put the cast on until some of the swelling went down...

John's surgery is tomorrow...he is scared tonight...but I keep telling him...everything will be ok...I hate the word cancer as well...and the sad thing is...they do have a cure for it...but the pharmaceutical companies treated to kill the man who came up with it...how sick some people are mentally...greed...they have to face God in the end...

and you my sweetest friend are soooo very welcome...alwaysssss...so much love...xxoo

The poor thing is in dire strats trying to figure out what's going on and how she can fix this mess. At least she knows her friend is alright. The chapter is very well-written, interesting. The plot moves along nicely and your characters seem real. Great job as always.

Thank you so much for the six pretty stars, Mistydawn, and the wonderful review. Yes, Veronica is relieved about that, but she has no idea how they will get back together again. The Powers have given her a hard assignment this time. :( Let's hope she's up to it! Big hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Absolutely fascinating. I'd often wondered if I'd still have been born, albeit different than I was had my mother married someone other than my father. However, the fact that Veronica DID get back to her own time, and she DID find James and the kids, reassure her that something DID happen and the first world war was won. That should tell her her purpose for being sent back. Obviously Glady's husband is the one she needs to target.

That really is an incredible review, Diane, you've certainly thought this out well. I'm waiting to see what James finds out, then perhaps we'll know what Veronica will have to do. Thank you so very much for this and the lovely six stars! Big hugs, my friend, Sandra xxxx
