I just read your poem and needed to thank you for its splendour, majesty and faithfulness I am so glad you won the Poem of the Month contest. But this poem deserves so much more!! It's like a verse in Proverbs that says that the sun shines on the righteousness and the wicked. You poem shines and speaks to the heart of the believer and the atheist.

Nice parallelism between the stanzas. Well done on the rhymes. Although you had to tweak some sentences to make it work, it didn't sound awkward. Nice adjectives! Each stanza painted a clear scene.

Absolutely the best I have read in a long time. Full of emotion and description. Verywell written in meter and flow and I wish you would have entered it in the contest, I am sure it would be...is now...a winner. Thought provoking and that is why I love it
