mad - bad -sad those words work perfectly in your triquint poem Yvonne. I do love the drawing you've chosen, and the tale you've told of she who didn't believe. (unlike you and I LOL). Loved it,
cheers,
valda

This triquint, I Should Have Believed, follows the format and tells the sad story of finally believing what was unbelievable before. I believe that's right.

Hi Yvonne. A charming composition. How narrow minded not to believe that fairies exist/existed. Just kidding. Your triquint is so nicely composed. Your poem speaks to me of stubbornness, unyielding. I guess being flexible is best. Marilyn

I know. I do believe in fairies. I don't know who that person was in the poem. She just popped in my head. It would be a dismal life not believing in magic. Thanks for a delightful review.

Hi Yvonne . Easy to see how you have followed the syllable count and refrains correctly What a great example of this style and good story to boot. Excellent well done. I must get busy and do one also. Cheers Christine

I love this triquint, dear. You and Jan, the two I've read thus far, both created such uniquely different, yet successful pennings. I love fairies so yours really calls to me...I would stomp my foot too if someone said they weren't real. I love Tink. Haha

Your syllabic count is spot on, rhyme is superb, imagery is definitely fulfilling, and the presentation is flawless. Well done, dear. well done...

Thank you for this fantastic review. I'm glad we agree on fairies and such. Life would be dismal without that believe.

This is cute and quite funny. I'm not familiar with this style of writing, but, I like what you've shared with us here. I really like the unique and unusual way that it rhymes and flows. Great job and well done!

I see anger, denial, and acceptance in this well formed Triquint.
The picture softens the sadness, and presents to me, a re-connecting awareness.
This may not be your intention, but my interpretation:)

Best wishes.

Hello, Yvonne, this is so adorable. You always write the cutest poetry with fun rhyme. A terrific piece for the potlatch. I'll never stop believing in fairies. Lol.

How sad, I feel the story of a closed off child in there somewhere. Poor angry little thing... sitting there all tight fisted, and resisting all thoughts of fancy and fantasy. Remaining forever wary of things like faeries. Ending up sad.

Unlike the poem, I still believe in magic - fairies, Santa Claus. It would be a sad life without it. Thank you for reviewing.
