Beautiful painting, Pam! I like how you show the soaring glide that make the bird so very majestic! I also like your story about the eagle stealing the fox's dinner. Oh dear! We have plenty of eagles up our way so rabbits and small pets need to be wary.

When I first moved to Crested Butte, CO in 1986 there were two bald eagles that sat in a tree by the road that went to town, and when we left in 2005, I believe there were six pairs. They were magnificent to watch in flight. I love this poem.
