You know it's really too bad we can't review in 5-7-5 format, alas we have to come up with 150 characters. Well your poem rhymed, it made sense, and it amused and entertained me. Good job.

Try this, Earl:
This five-seven-five, Not Needed, follows the correct format and reflects how a person writing a poem might feel when the output no longer carries the fire it once did. Maybe the fire has never really ignited yet, and the speaker must resist giving up until he/she finds that niche.

If you write something, it means something to you. To me that's the important thing, regardless of whether others want to read or hear them. It's fin to write for your own pleasure. I'm not sure what you mean by "my goals are blurred." Sometimes people don't realize it, but their words do have an impact. judi
