Hi there,
Christmas is an emotional time. It seems either a couple will get together with a proposal on Christmas Eve or they break up with the hype of the season. The emotional upheaval of Christmas is enormous; lots of memories - good and bad.

This was a sad story! So very well written too! You told this tale of heartache all too well. Your descriptions were great and I could really feel the pain that this poor gut must endure! You wrote this perfectly! Just a few mistakes with typo g I think. If you reread, you'll catch a few. Great job though! I really enjoyed reading this one!

Oh my, this is so sad and haunting. The poem tugs at the heart., Christmas sometimes reminds us not only of happy memories but also the sad ones. I like the story and it progressed smoothly from beginning to end.

A very deep and awesome tale. The reader can feel every moment of grief. All these years of building the relationship around Christmas. Awaiting a twist, but never getting one, was the crowning masterpiece.
