I used to own a Datsun I named Sunshine. "She" pulled the same stunts during foul weather. I like how you personify your car throughout the story and the ending is amusing.

This is a very good short story and ends on a surprise note... we all expected a calamity. Good match up with the name of the car and the photo. I am curious,..... since you are a female, why are you writing as a man??? It seems a lot of your writing has a masculine slant... hmmmm... lol

Sorry, Melissa -- I guess being a physics major in the eighties (one of two girls in the entire department) and having all sons (and therefore hosting all of their activities growing up) helps a bit. Thanx for the read an review.

lol. Until I read that last sentence, I was wondering why you would name the vehicle, Sunshine, and not Rainstorm.

The ending made all of the Sunshine's mishaps worthwhile.

In its brevity, the story was well-written, capturing the moments and character development. The main character being the car.
