I very much appreciated the truth in your acrostic. When I was a child, there were people stomped to death in a stampede for a popular doll. Never participated in the Black Friday insanity. I always enjoy your 'new word' posts. This one was done very well.

A very clever Acrostic poem with a very interesting word choice, it reads very well and is perfect for the recent Black Friday mayhem.
Loved the final line which finishes your fine writing with aplomb.
Best wishes
Mitchell

A very well-written acrostic poem about unruly crowds that need some action from authorities to get them behave more orderly especially at big sales where big discounts are offered.

Yes, it's a dangerous time to go shopping, Sandra. Many thanks, Craig

Sorry to say that the US is not much of a role model now days. Our Black Friday actually starts in the afternoon of Thanksgiving Day. My little community made the national news when shots were fired inside the mall on Thanksgiving Day. A little girl was shot and the gunman was killed.
I stay clear. I stay home and review poetry.
I enjoyed your acrostic.

I think that's a wise, and probably much more fun alternative, Debbie. I presume (hope) the child survived with minimal lasting damage. Can't truthfully say I'm sorry about what happened to the gunman. Thanks for the kind review :) Craig

The bullet passed through the child, missing every organ. A Christmas miracle.

This is a strong description of Black Friday as well as a protest march of bigots.
I don't know how it started but shoppers on this day can be crazed. I avoid malls
on any days, especially, Black Friday. The only places in malls you will find be on a regular basis are bookstores and movie theaters.

Keep writing

Joan

Those sound like good places to be, Joan. Unless, of course, a crazy decides to target the cinema. Thankfully, that's rare. Thanks for your kind review, Craig

You're welcome. Both places were relatively empty yesterday. I was there.

This is a fantastic acrostic poem on the word and I liked and enjoyed how meaning of the word is put making a story on a subject so thematically about Black Friday; well said, well done. Keep Writing -- DR ALCREATOR

What a clever and cute write, Craig. When I was reading this verse, I assumed it was a political rant.... and then you popped in with the Black Friday .. vandemoniumism....quip... so fun.... Have a wonderful day!!

Me? Political rant? hehe Well, not this time; but I was hoping that is what people would think, until they got to the end :)

Many thanks for the lovely review, Melissa. You have a great day too! Cheers, Craig
