MERRY CHRISTMAS POET: I like your posting here. I remember Cary Grant very well. He was a popular actor and a prominent entertainer. Many of us remember him for that. I like the way that you have expressed his talent in your posting here. Well done, Poet. God bless you. Cordially: rhonnie69.

This is very cool! I like this a lot. I can't remember exactly what dance this is, but I am interested in learning more. You have reminded me about this by reading one I really like. Thank you for putting it into something that is relatable. I love the older movies with Cary Grant and these titles are awesome and it could talk about who you are as a person too. LOL. Very ingenious! I hope if this is entered into a contest I remember to vote. Also I love the title - it is my life's motto. LOL Cheers, Fonda

WOW! This poem is very creatively composed--an acrostic chain (?) verse??
(Last word of a line becomes first word of the next--what is this form/style
called?)--that includes a number of movie titles. BRAVO!

Wahoo!
What a creative treat! Aside from the numerous Cary Grant movies that you cite with aplomb, I appreciate how you begin and end your poetic offering with the same phrase. Neat. And a loop poem as well! Very creative and smooth-flowing!
Well-executed!

Best Wishes!

I'll start my comments by saying this isn't the smoothest poem I've ever read, BUT - considering you combined a Cary Grant Movie Titles Poem with an Acrostic and a Loop poem, I think you did an amazing job. Good luck in the contest .

Cary Grant movie titles woven into an acrostic poem, that is indeed ambitious. Looks like you pulled it off. Good luck in the contest with your excellent post.

Dear Mystery Writer,

I have always loved Cary Grant. Even as a famous actor, he always seemed to have a tendency to laugh at himself, and not take himself too seriously, you know? What a delightful character trait. Thanks!

Ah author
your entry into this contest is great of how you ask us Does the darkness ever clear
( noticed of how you used red font to give us I believe a hint or were they clues--
describing a movie that Gray Grant was in.
I wish I could recall the title of the movie!
Gert

I should have tried at least to enter this contest because I've watched Cary Grant (AKA, Archibald Leach) movies all of my life. I've seen him with Mae West as well as with Audrey Hepburn. He was a timeless actor and perhaps the actor with more class than any that's ever been on the screen. I do appreciate your tribute to this great actor. Best wishes.
