What an interesting word. Well applied with the fake news reference for satirical effect.

These days, "the facts" are often inexact;

Love the internal rhyme!

Love the rhymes in general, especially:

Deciphering the news

can easily confuse;

Bravo

Truth is straight and forward. Only when one tries to make it into what they want it to be does it become an anfract.
Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for reviewing. An interesting perspective. I tend to think some things aren't always black and white, but more shades of grey (not 50 though, maybe more like 7). Most grateful, Craig

What a timely word you have pulled from your book. I must say, "anfract" is one of the most unpleasant words that I have ever said (I always say your words to help me remember them). My computer, with its infinite wisdom, keeps trying to change your nice word to "infract," which fits the political situation as well.
We will see what anfract the news takes today. Stay alert.

    I agree about the word. It reminds me of Anne Frank, which is a most unpleasant thought indeed. Poor Anne and her family. It's taken me a little while to get to this review, so I'm wondering what covfefes have been missed in the meantime. Many thanks, Debbie :)

That is the end of the Gnus. Now here's the weather forecast...

I enjoyed your topically themed limerick and yet another new word to try to squeeze into an already overcrowded vocabulary!

Poor gnus - always the brunt of somebody's pun.

Hi

Well I have ro totally agree with you. Our news is half truths mixed with bullshit. Our fiction holds more truth then non fiction.

Great job
