Hi, Trisha,

Thank you for sharing this cascade poetry dealing with the realities of the dating scene. We used to liken' it to 'meat markets,' but I can see where 'garage sales' come into play with the mixed up parts of broken marriages, widows, and the disenfranchised.

LOL! Okay, I seriously laughed out loud at your cascade here -- this is a winner in my book and I know there's no competition!!! :) ;) Just the reality of 'cat fights' of women over available men like they were merchandise at a garage sale is hilarious. It is also an almost sobering look at the overall cultural shift that is trying denigrate 'men' in favor of 'woman power' .... don't get that whole mentality but I love the satirical eye with which your write here could be viewed! :) ;) Either way - a wonderful write! :) ;) Thank you for sharing! :) ;) Yvette :)

I am smiling so big. You did it, and it is wonderful. It's one of the funniest poems that I have ever read. The analogy is priceless--much too valuable for your typical garage sale.
I really like your line that "unused status is a bonus find." Ain't that the truth!
