I think that may be true, I find that I don't have nearly as much writers block when I use a keyboard. That night have something to do with how slow I type. Good luck in the contest.

I too am a very slow typist. On my iPad and iPhone, I use only one finger to type (-:

Perfect 5-7-5 poetry. Looks like my nightstand! We writers, we are all the same. I write for hours every day. If I am not writing, I'm thinking and praying about what to write. I have a good habit of writing down thoughts or even something I saw or overheard. It is often used later in my short works or contributed pieces.

Yes! Where is that muse these days...I think mine's on strike because of the cold weather moving back in! :) ;) This is a wonderful offering for the 5-7-5, especially speaks to your audience directly! :) ;) Although, I have to say that, in reference to your author notes, that it may 'age-biased' .... many older folks do much better without the keyboard and then just type in our creative inspirations written 'the old fashioned way' on paper! :) ;) LOL!! :) ;) Thanx for sharing and good luck in the contest!! :) ;)

True, some older people may no longer have the flexibility to routinely use a keyboard, or choose to write the old-fashioned way. Honestly, I love getting a handwritten letter or card rather than the instantaneous email.
There is no problem with paper inspiration. A keyboard device may not be available as you sit on the top of a mountain and look at the beautiful scenery beyond you vantage point. Paper and pencil then works great!
