You did a good job with your free verse. I understand that you are expressing what you see/feel with the feminists of today. I see no reason to change or apologize for your words. Thanks for sharing. Jan

I think too many "feminists" and other groups do try too hard to be heard and seen and less time really promoting what matters to better their cause. I love your author's notes on the "digitalized generation" which is way different than standing up for a cause such as suffrage. I love your free verse thoughts on this subject. Your title is perfection.

Hi Nassus, I don't take offence at all. On the contrary. As a Scandinavian woman how could I ever take offence. We're the most liberated as can be. What I am saying is that I'm surprised. Your picture is so positive whereas your poem is rather negative. I find it a contradiction in terms, your words and the image. All the best. Ulla:)))

My dear friend I was born and raised in a world far different from yours. I hail from a conservative third world country where vulgarity and indecency are treated like a plague. Baring oneself publicly is immoral in the community where I grew up. Virginity before the wedding is sacred to us. So I must be viewing the picture from a different lens. For me, this is not a true expression of freedom. It is a desecration of Christian values. Sorry, my dear if I have offended your sensibilities. I may sound primitive although I dress up and wear my make up like a woman of this age. Yet, I have remained modest in my appearance and yes, I am still an old soul. I cannot imagine my daughter running around the house naked just to make a point. I still believe in the beauty of rational debate and discourse. God bless my friend. Susan

This was real interesting...especially coming from a woman. I think you had some powerful images in there, of self mutilation and inconsiderate and disrespectful noises in the protest. I'm someone who believes in roles, and the feminists have broken the roles. They want to make men of women, and it is part of destroying society, breaking down families and making life a hell for children. No wonder people are so screwed up today. In the end, I think when we turn away from God, we open ourselves up to the need to feel like we are doing something for the world, which explains much of the protesting we see today. estory

I share your views, the global Luciferian elites aim for the destruction of the society and families. Sadly, they are succeeding seeing more feminists protesting on the streets thinking that vulgarity and indecency is an expression of freedom. We need to pray harder so that the good old values will be respected again.

Yes, she wears her prejudices with flamboyance, doesn't she. Your writing is smooth and content so very timely. I love the stanza:

I don't really understand
her bold, tinted signature
re-writing women's history
with oblique ideology - so very true. Change is inevitable, but good, forward change, not the tainted ideologies we are seeing today.

This poem is relatable, timely, expertly crafted with an excellent image. The meter is good and the message, well...understandable and so very realistic. Thanks for sharing.

Vet well-written. Too bad more women don't feel the way you do. Poweful word choice and imagery. And I hate tattoos and piercings. I will never get them.

HELLO NASSUS1957: After viewing your posting here, this is not my response, but God's response. "Forgive them...for they know not what they do. They stumble in their darkness...because they know not that by which they stumble." Nevertheless there, IS, a mercy for them from their creator: "But God Commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." ROMANS chapter 5: at verse 8. Therefore...our lady may be pressed...but because of the love of her creator for her...she is, NOT, crushed. God bless you and yours, Nassus1957. Cordially: rhonnie69.

Oh my friend rhonnie69, thank you very much for this God-inspired review. Yes, these feminists are strayed away from God. By the way, if you have time please google the Deep State by the Edge of Wonder and visit too, QAnon posts for some great awakening videos. God bless. Susan

Well written Nassus. I love your format and style of this freestyle poem.

I am a male who has always believed in the feminist movement, but I understand where you are coming from. However, I hope you are stating that extreme reaction (by men or women) is the cause of the problem and not the wishes of the majority of women.

In your last verse you write:
and obscene jealousy
is fully tattooed today,
sadly........
on her pale, opaque skin.

I question the use of "obscene jealousy" in the verse. Yes, it's true there are some women who may go overboard with their demands for equality, but is it "jealousy?" Even if it is, perhaps, we men, do not have to be jealous because there is no need for us to be jealous-- the cards were stacked in our favor in the first place.

Thanks for allowing me to review.

My dear friend Shanbreen, I have been a victim of failed marriage and perhaps I have all the more valid reason to protest. But I prefer not to be a victim. I have raised two beautiful children. Now, they are both stable, professional, responsible adults. I did all that by juggling time, teaching in three different colleges without any financial help from their irresponsible father. Nevertheless, I will never exercise my freedom of expression in a vulgar manner like these feminists of the "MeToo Movement" wearing their pussy hats. I cannot imagine my daughter making a point by running naked around the house. I am an old soul, raised in a very conservative, God-loving family, who still believe in the power of a rational dialogue. God bless. Susan

This free verse says a lot about the mindset and motivations of some women's movements we see today. Parity is surpassed, sometimes, hatred for men altogether. Messages are lost through excessive 'progressiveness'.

I agree, aggressive progressiveness have diluted the minds of people into hating God, hating decency and morality and hating America as a whole. Please do watch if you have time, the video of Sid Roth and the priestess of the Satanic Church who converted to the Christian faith, The Edge of Wonder videos on the Deep State and QAnon posts for some great awakening videos.
