A very well-written poem about the beauty and wonderful energy Spring brings to us when the first new leaves appear and new life seems to starts everywhere in nature.

In my opinion, a lovely poem - beautifully rendered in its smooth and lyric rhyming rhythm - although not vested in the form, I am particularly captivated by the illustrative and easy rhyming rhythm - fully compliant with the prompt. Best of luck in the contest...

"Spring's hymn of peace.." The whole first stanza- my favourite- has lovely images of nature awakened and in full display. I think of this poem as Ode to Spring... Rhyme flows, and yes, the lines are as if singing of the new born beauty.

This is a magnificent portrait of the writer's favorite season. A picturesque description of Spring flows throughout this well written write. The poem is sun-soaked with wonderful imagery and excellent rhymes. It has a melodic sense and feel which the writer has infused in every perfectly chosen word. Let us all sing to the glory of Spring.
All the best in the contest

Hello anon, a well written poem in a new form to me. Hill and Dale - you have written your poem true to form and it is beautifully rhymed with good rhythm. A bit like a Limerick in its form. A very eye-catching picture in a lovely setting. Good Luck - warm regards Dorothy x

Hmm. "Hill and Dale." Live and learn. There is more to your rhapsodizing than meets the eye of the uninitiated.
Artfully done.

Love this spring time write. The carefully chosen rhyme and clean verbiage make the flow and feel of this piece delicate and beautiful. Perfect cadence also.
The color/font choice add to the overall Spring content and the image was an excellent choice. This style of poetry I have not yet wandered upon but am quite intrigued by. I just might try it sometime ;-)
I wish you the best of love with this perfect penning, in my humble opinion, of course. Love that second stanza- just wow! The tone and rich imagery are just powerful.
