What a beautiful thought. However bleak things look, hope can always arise. The artwork of the sprout rising up green out of the tree stump certainly illustrates your theme of hope. We need to hope on to the hope, because all things are possible. Great work with your tanka. By jove, I think you've got it! Best of luck in the contest. judi

This is beautiful. Every word sounded like it just flowed together like it was supposed to. I loved it. I especially like the Faith poems that speak to our hearts. You have done quite well with this.
