Beautiful artwork and verse that reminds me that winter is coming all too soon. Spring and summer are but memories the fall is what I have.

This is a lovely metaphorical piece of poetic art. You capture the essence of how Autumn speaks to the reality of aging. Well done and thank you very much for sharing it.
Enjoy your time off :).

Such a beautifully descriptive offering, Trisha, for those in the Autumn of life - whether early, mid, or late.... thanx for the warmth this morning! :) Yvette

This is lovely, Trisha, but oh so sad. I hope you are doing well. I hope you have many bright colored memories all around your tall, strong trunk. The first poem that I ever wrote, 10th grade, compared people to a tree. I still love the image.
Good to talk to you again.

Trees have a beauty all their own. I never realized just how many styles of bark patterns, shapes etc.there are. Thanks, I agree life cycle is sad

Autumn can be wonderful, whether it's our later years or a walk in the woods in October. I love that picture. It's the perfect accompaniment to your poem.

Hello Bucketlist

I have picked out this stanza, why it reminds me as I get older day by day since I had a stroke where I lost part of my vision---

Many are richer in hue
Some last longer to wither
In the third season of life
Health has a played a part

This is a very well written poem about the trees of our life. I like the way you compared our life to that of trees in the fall of the year. I enjoyed reading and reviewing this.

Please check this one thing:
Health has a played a part
take the a out after has - Health has played a part.....

love and blessings, Teri
