Your poem says it all. But calling them magicians gives their lies and false promises, legitimacy -- nothing wrong with magic, is it? =). But I know what you are saying. The poem is well written.

Yes, it's that time again and another four years has passed, kahpot.
I just finished voting, only moments ago.
All we can do as patriotic, law abiding citizens is become as well informed as humanly possible as it pertains to the the agenda each candidate had laid out for themselves and their constituents.

It's amazing the craziness that's happening in the US these days. I've seen some of the dirtiest politics by unnamed groups (Trump). What a historical time we live in.
