This 5-7-5 poem is fabulous. I love the rhyme. Your words aĆ?e so true also. I think this should do really well in the competition but who knows what the commitee(whoever they are) look for. Good luck and Best wishes. Jen.

Ain't that a FACT. I forget where you are, but one day Australia will end up like Italy with a lot of Splinter groups and as old Bob Hawke former Lefty PM said...no consensus... or agreement on key policies. Thanks and a good drawing.

Makes one wonder when they intend to politic. With all that is going on, I doubt that will be soon. The deception certainly continues. Very apt poem saying a lot within the confines of the contest rules.

Never have truer words been spoken, and this is unfortunate. I'm sure there arent many who will disagree with your poem, as politicians are indeed like magicians in the way that they make extravagant promises and appear magical when saying what everyone wishes to hear, only to discover it was all an illusion. Powerful message and an absolutely apt metaphor. A great entry for the contest x

They are the puppet master's that dangle us on strings.
Is a reason that they break their necks to be a politician.
And, tomorrow is voting day.
I never hear from these guys, until voting day.

Like your presentation. I do hope when everyone goes to the polls to vote they think hard about what they are about to do for they have to live with it for a long time. We need to bring America back!
