Now isn't this special. I like it. Superman at the door and in your face. On top of that he "fussed you good." You had your thoughts in order and the sequence laid out well. Superman was right. Words do have power. With your poem, you show just how much power they have. Good job.

What an excellent story, definitely powers of a difference but power all the same, as words can and have changed and influenced many, this is very well done****kqahpot

I like the story infused in this poem about a super hero visiting the author. The message about the power of writers to change things and inspire others is refreshing. Thanks for sharing.

A very well-written poem about the super hero come to visit you at home. When someone come to visit unexpectedly we always wonder what they may want from us.

Words have great power we know that and these extra powers yearned for here in this poem will sadly make no difference to our lives. Happiness is something we exude from within, but maybe I am being a little too serious here and the thought of a super hero entering our home would be a lot of fun, especially for the kids! A lighthearted and fun write, love Dolly x

Even though this is fantastical, I think you are supporting a good point with this creative tale. Words do have power and can change things. Have a great day. I really enjoyed this.

Good to see so many exercising their superpowers on FanStory! Being articulate carries responsibilities with it. There are many who don't have the power of words who need someone else to speak up for them.

or another. Enjoy your weekend,

"Who is it this time ", I think. - edit suggestion
"Who is it this time?" I think.
The window(,) I just can - needs comma
He seems patient(,) but angry. -needs comma
I, nervously, welcome him in - remove commas in this one
Just so I'm sure he flashes his "S". - period inside the quotation marks :)
You're not using your super power(,) I fear." - comma needed
"So(,) you can't fly and don't have X-ray eyes(,)- commas needed
Whether (it's) poetry or prose - I think it reads smoother with 'it's' instead of it. What do you think?
To bring people's lives a new lease(,) - comma needed
So(,) if you want no more visits from me
Haha, now this is a cute poem, dear. I love that Superman arrives just in the nick of time to shed light on the waning muse :) Yes, words can be very powerful tools. Nicely written. I made some suggestions, punctuation edits, and wish you all the best with writing and living up to your 'super power." You've got skills.
