Giving voice to inanimate objects is pretty cool. The vibrant way you describe the colors helps to visualize the trees in the poem. Good luck in the contest.

A really well put together piece which reminds me more of a song lyric than strictly a poem. Add a chorus and sell it. The 4th line in each verse is, to me, the reason for that (as per contest requirements).
The glorious artwork is excellent and helps portray the colors of your write, which are bold and bountiful. I love the association made between individual instruments and various colors. Nice choice of Autumnal font/background colors to complement your poem as well. Word choice is excellent with many words adding to the whole New Orleans Jazz feel explored - pizzazz, raucous, gusto etc.
Overall very well done.

Nice write. I wish we had more color or as you put it more jazz in our changing season then what I am seeing. I can remember long ago when this time of year October colors where in full bloom. In this day and time the trees are as confused with the weather as we are. A nice write. Keep reading and writing.

Love how you placed New Orleans as the setting of this piece. I always wanted to go there, their mardi gras so colorful and amusing. Great colorful imagery here. Love the redness, it pops out :)
