I love your words, they capture the good feelings from attending church. I attend church and can relate to your words. The service gives me energy to move forward for the week. You have written an excellent faith based poem.

This is an invitation that it is hard to ignore. You have made it clear from your words that everyone, no matter what their condition, is welcome and can find succour in the church.

Yes Church attendance has fallen dramatically in the Western world it seems- why does it seem so uninteresting to the young of today ? Interesting to read some poetic thoughts on the matter

The poem scans very well. Message-wise, though, it doesn't feel particularly persuasive for people who don't already go to church, especially given the collective description of the congregation as arrogant, greedy and immoral! Perhaps more personal detail about the speaker's religious experience would feel more moving and persuasive?
