Thanks Marilyn. I have been inspired to do these Rambles by Sasha the much-written lady in Mexico. Dealing with a big Hurrican through her area I think.

This is a Well-written very interesting piece about Australia and Broken Hill. I didn't realize that your country is so humid. We have a lot of humidity here in Missouri so I know the problems it can cause. Sometimes it's so hot, humid a candy bar will melt before you get it to the car. The joys of summer. I'm going to be wishing for those joys soon.

This is a Well-written very interesting piece about Australia and Broken Hill. I didn't realize that your country is so humid. Dry heat is also with us here Geoff, in fact dry heat is probably predominant in Australia, (if one doesn't mind 50deg heat that is) well done, I can remember performing in Casino (northern NSW) in 43deg heat, talk about swear. Well done, blessings,

Did you mean SWEAT? HEhe. Yeah and you also have the leftovers of Murray River for your ablutions ha. I think I have commented about having to wash oneself off after a shower in Murray River water to get it off. HARD STUFF! Thanks Bro.

If they work, that's the important thing. I've known people who put rice in the sale shaker. I don't do that, but I'm not supposed to be using much salt, anyway. Interesting how you can create a post out of a subject like humidity. Very creative of you. I don't think you need to capitalize the names of the seasons. judi

Thanks judi was it you suggested I split up the list of names in the Acknowledgement chapter? I have found "Tables" in Advanced edit I have asked TOm to help with that.

One would never think about having a problem with the salt shaker in Australia from here in America :-) your rambling was informative and interesting. I'll have to pass the information onto my sister who lives in humid part of the country over here.

I enjoyed your ramble, Sankey. You expressed your thoughts well. I like learning about other countries and this is one way. Here we have many days in our summer with humidity below 10%. But humidity really isn't much of a problem. Good job and thanks for sharing. Jan

Thanks Jan. I may have told you I was inspired to write these rambles by Sasha in Mexico. Missing her atm as I think they are dealing with a Hurricane in Mexico and she may be offline.

I got to tell you that this piece was informative. As a person who does not use salt on my food, I had to buy a box one day. I thought it would be fine after not using it. A year later the salt had gotten hard in the box. Now, I know why: humidity. Thanks.

I don't think I picked it up from your FS tag and you are reminding me of a Ramble I need to write about a dear bro in the Lord now in Glory named Philip (one L I think) who has done so much around here. I did refer to him in my Friends Chapter of my biography. Cheers.

Thanks, Ulla. In our city (30 miles West of Sydney) it gets quite hot in the Summer. For a time(I mentioned this in my biography) I lived up on our Blue Mountains. As you say the height was a wonderful comfort in the change of climate from down on the flat. Sadly I only got to stay in that lovely home for three months. Thanks for the lovely review.

Oh, I've been to the Blue Mountains. Beautiful!!! So you've only 30 miles from Sydney. Being Danish, I'm very proud of The Opera House. I'm so glad I've seen it in real life. :))

Yeah so sad the bad time they gave Utzon(sp?) the designer. If you look in my Portfolio in Geoffrey'ws MUsings there is a composition I wrote about how long it took for the Opera House to be built. I wrote it in 1965.Look for "When The Sails Sailed." A bit of a satire.

I will look out for it. Did you know that his daughter is a great designer as well? She designed much of the interior of Copenhagen airport. It runs in the family.

Rambles is not a copyright word. The Book is called Geoff's Rambles, I will change the title of the chapter if it offends you, cheeky man, hehe. Sasha was touched that I claimed how she inspired me to do the same. Thanks for coming by.

I changed the Chapter name to go with the book name. It is probably not going outside FS anyway.
