LOL! I missed this one. Fun and funny. I think we may all feel our scribblings aren't worthy sometimes--but they are if we composed them. Third line is the best. We don't really want to hear our writings are anything but the best. Marilyn

I wouldn't call anyone's writing "crap", although I can't claim I've always been shown the same courteosy.
Anything anyone writes should be extended the same respect, regardless of the author.
That includes yours as well.

I really like the self-mocking tone of this "apology." How many writers will say "I'm sorry" in advance of their deed and still share their "crap" writing?

That is an apology I might have wrote. I too am learning and the instructions to my first contest was a bit unclear. We will get the hang of it. I like your entry, good luck. ;)
