Well this isn't really a script Vance, but I do enjoy your enthusiasm, pre mid-terms. It was ironic watching our own Toronto, Canada mayoral hopeful go on about the crisis at our Southern border with the USA. "There is a crisis at the border," she spouted again and again. What crisis, I wondered. It's a worldwide hue and cry in response to a too big influx of refugees. I totally agree there needs to be a complete overhaul of immigration/refugee policies, everywhere including Canada. But people need to stand back and look at it rationally. No nation can support open borders and it's a fool's errand to suppose you can.

I hope you turn this into a full script, with characters debating the issue in its entirety. I also hope reviewers can hold their visceral impulse to give low star reviews because they want to stamp out views different than their own. Along the way of world wide communication, via the Internet, we've lost the ability to engage sensible, vigorous and considered debate. Thank goodness Faith Goldy didn't win because Canadian politics are polarized enough without an irrational mayor irresponsibly stirring the pot at the helm.

I read a year or so ago a vast and terribly written, but prophetic novel about a deal made with the devil to get a US President elected who would "do something!" about US border policy -- meaning I read it on this site. It was exacrably written and I spent an untold amount of time trying to help the writer state this idea in something like comprehensible terms. More than a year ago -- before Trump's election. The novel has turned out to be powerfully...correct. I tried to contact the author to tell him so and communicate further, but he's no longer on this site. I spent so much time trying to straighten his sentences around I have never recovered as a reviewer. I frankly could give less of a damn about the immigration issue -- this country's built on letting all the "criminals" and other riffraff in just like Australia. Russia concerns me however and Trump's cozying up to Putin is despicable in ways I cannot mention in "polite" exchange, but infinitely worse than what's happening on the border. The "crats" are alert to that while the elephants snooze on their bank accounts with free health care or the "let them die!" philosophy.

I like a person who tells it like it is and has no use for political correctness. The Crats aren't willing to believe 80% plus of the citizens want a wall. Trump may be rude and crude. He may even be tattooed. I don't care. He's trying to do what I want done, and I've talked to many, many people who also want the wall. Just hope he can hang in there and straighten things out. Our President Trump has stood up under severe bashing and remains strong. If anyone can help the economy he can. If anyone can solve the debt problem it is he.
