Excellent Poem! The first two lines of this poem flow
and connect well. The last line puts the poem all
together. The artwork is perfect and compliments the
theme and words of this poem.

Not only are you a great poet, but also a great painter! I love how you create art work and from that image words flow depicting the story behind it. You convey an important message and that is, we all should have confidence in ourselves and take control of our destiny for it is a solo act.
Well done and thanks for sharing :)

Yep a cutie alright Pam. The color combinations so elegantly accommodate your poem. Looking at Mr. Rugsby grows on ya in it's little pose on the branch. Pam when you get a chance I want you to look up this Author Baustian64 and read his writing "20 years!" I reached out to him or it maybe a female, I'm not sure but regardless of gender, they're in a lot of emotional pain. Just read the writing and get back to me.

A beautiful painting and 5-7-5. Thanks for including the story of how the bird came to be. The fact that you created this bird purely from the confines of your imagination is wonderful in itself and even more so that he is named after your husband. X

It looks like a Rugsy! Its all different colors...not saying your husband is, lol.
He does look like he is posing:) This poem makes me wonder if animals have any vanity.
I get excited whenever I see your work because I like every one of them! It must give you such fulfillment to be able to do this
I hope you are going to make a book of these?

Rugsy is beautiful! I love the tones of his feathers and the mauve background. No wonder he won best of show. Fictional or not, the art is lovely and the poetry is haiku at its best. I enjoyed it.

Thank you so much June for all of your encouragement. I am looking forward to painting again. I was thinking about your dance poem. And you are right. I could not paint because the carpet. Made it too hard for my wheelchair wheels. So we are having tile replace the carpet in most of the house. So I did what was needed to paint again. Just what your poem said to do. Thank you for your delightful review
