This is a cracker Jack Star Trek tale for sure. Everything about it takes me back to the original show. You have the characters down spot on. The story is vintage in tone with a message about relying on technology to come, I'm guessing. This could be a movie. NG

As a strong Trekkie from way back, I have to say this is quite genius. Your characters are, first of all in rare form as they always are. You have the appropriate dialect, culture, setting, plot. The interactions retain their tongue-in-cheek humor. this could easily be right out of their log. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have to give it 6 stars. It is just flawless. And you even ended it as they always did, to be continued. Have you thought of writing more? You could also just move all of this to a different movie studio and have similar but different characters in the same setting with the same plot.

That was great! I can visualize the story as it unfolded. Since I am a Treky fan, it was so cool to see the characters unfold. You did a great job, it flowed like a episode to watch.

Halfway the names of the people speaking disappears and the reader doesn't know who is saying what. It also looks more like a dialogue story than a script at this point.
''You have your orders, mister." I am a watcher of star trex and, although, the original is not my favorite I have never heard Kirk call anyone just 'mister.' It is always Spock or Ensign or Bones. At a push, it would be Mister Spock.
Apart from the two points I have made above, this is a good story. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest.

Oh yes, the space travel legend and the mysteries of the universe, unknown to men have always an adventure of conjecture for writers. This make stories of space adventure more interesting and exciting like this one. Than ks for sharing, I will surely wait for the next post.
