It's not winter here yet. Well penned and I'm looking forward to the coziness. But I'm not looking forward to the 10 little kids I teach not being able to go outside to blow off steam

I can see your point as to the ten little ones. It's not winter here yet either, though they are forecasting more snow than last year, which is okay because I think we got a total of about 2" the whole winter. Really do appreciate the stars.

The sun in the sky, burning as fire, but the snow still falls blanketing earth. Love this Ode to winter, the image goes well with the piece as well. Thanks for sharing your views on winter!

I don't have the best eyesight; you might want to change the font or background to create a larger contrast for other readers with similar problems.

This is a lovely view of a cozy winter night with the earth snuggled under a blanket of snow.
