The taxidermist shop would make a great setting. Ned is occasionally crazy like a fox. Fun with the guinea pig made to move with a transistor battery. Great one for Halloween. Great work with the dialogue. Ned really has Camp going. This has a lot of great visual possibilities. judi

Thanks, Judi. I gave Pons The day off.

You're welcome. Pons is probably trying to find a different partner. judi

Okaaaay. That was weird. In an increasingly weird series of events with Ned, this one may well take the cake, the pie and the doughnut too. What are you smoking when you come up with these stories? It must be pretty potent. LOL.

Pons wasn?t there to maintain order.
-
I did notice his absence. What happened, couldn't take it anymore?
-
I needed someone to call him stupid, and I didn?t want it to be Pons.

We, Ned is extra special in this one, isn't he? ;) Always a bit touched, but a wired dead guinea pig...? Now that's very touched....but hilarious! ;) ;) Only Ned (oh, and the author behind him, perhaps -lo!!) would think of 'tricking' someone like that since one would have to be carrying it around in the first place! ;) yu-u-uck! Lol! However, I do absolutely adore how he had the coon mounted....that's awesome!!! ;) But, inquirying minds want to know: who is the action figure? :) ;) ;) LOL! Yvette

That?s a great question, Yvette. I was thinking first of a Ken doll. Any other action figures were debatable, and would probably require some reason for a particular selection. Glad you want to know. Bill

Seems "Ned" is attempting to be funny in his encounter with "Camp". This is demonstrated by his "wink wink" remark. One that "Camp" questions. Guess "Ned" is supposed to have a speech impediment? "door knob" should be the compound word "doorknob". "Ned's" language is very difficult to follow. Not sure anyone actually talks like that. Did observe some humor in this piece, especially the way "Ned" scared the fire out of "Camp". That illustrates he's not as dumb as he's portrayed to be. At the end he just tosses "Roscoe" away like trash and goes on his way.

Thanks for the excellent review, GinnieD. Ned?s dialect is a moving target, I have gone as regional as Louisiana and as far North as southern Ohio. I?ve done about thirty of these, and Ned?s speech has always been scrutinized as distracting.

Good to see the guys again. Love the part about the guinea pig...dead or alive? LOL! You had me believing it really was just sleeping. I am surprised that Ned was smart enough to rig it with batteries. About time he got the best of Pons. :)

Ha, oh my land this is just hilarious, Bill. Your imagination goes off into a wonderful with these characters, and how wonderfully well Ned pulled one over on Camp.
Great job with a terrific script.

Where on earth did you get the idea for this? When i saw it was you and the title was at the taxidermy shop I thought you were putting an end to bear world.

I mentioned a bear in this scene. It's what the raccoon looked like mounted. Bears are done. Thanks for taking a look at this.

Ned is slipping from dim to touched.

LOL. Ned has his own wisdom, doesn't he? Carrying a dead guinea pig around IS strange, but it was funny when Camp jumped.
Good one for Halloween.

Very amusing tale about how a seeming dumbass can sometimes surprise a person with their wit and intellect despite outward appearances.
I knew a guy just like Ned many years ago and I soon learned not to sell him short. Very clever dude.
A fun write which brought a smile.
