Like the story and the rhyme is pretty catchy. Being a stickler I didn't like rhyming it with it.
With seaweed stacked all around,
They searched for his stash until it was found.

This was a hoot to read. It is a little but different than the movie 1492. As for discovering the 'New World' ole Cris was a bit late. Seems he didn't really hit the mainland either but that's good 'nuff'.
Old blighter cashed in too and was quite the entrepreneur later. Gotta love the twists in history.
We'll have to bulldoze that 'Nordic' village off the tip of Newfoundland one of these days....
