I did not see this. I so loved the presentation. Beauty and love is always a first, which includes heart.
Wasn't an easy structure to flow, and repeating lines can hinder, but silken lines holds this tight.
Deserves success.
Bravo.
My best wishes.

A fabulous example of a villanelle. I wish I had an extra star to give! I like the repetition of "caress my heart forevermore". I like repetition when used well in poetry. Very detailed romantic piece. I loved every moment of reading it! Job well done!

This villanelle, Eternally Yours, is set up correctly and tells a love story beneath the sycamore that marks some eternal consummation that marks a time and a timelessness.

This was a well-crafted poem and very pleasing to read. It followed well with the villanelle style of poem. The eternal love theme went well with the title.

Two well chosen repeating lines are the making of this villanelle. It is a delightful expression of love and, as a poem, it flows beautifully with consistent rhythm and well chosen rhymes.

Great Job on this Villanelle, Susan. You have a remarkable way with poetry. The words in this piece display just how well you do the writing, like:
"Soothe blushing warmth, I do implore...
for you alone guide mountain highs;
caress my heart forevermore."
Bravo! Good job, my friend. Bob

Although I don't remember you, Susan, (forgive me, as my memory, understandably, is not as keen as was in those bygone times to which you refer) your beautiful words of joyous love have returned me to the enchanted days and nights we may have shared. Now let's get on with it.
(Love that poem!)
Fondly,
Don

My Dearest Don,
Sadly, you must have me confused with another. As I am certain, had we shared such beautiful sentiments and lingered in those " Mountain highs"... you most certainly would have remembered! ;- p Such a love would reside in your soul forever. Alas, tis karma that has kept us apart! Perhaps it's for the best, as I am a free spirit and you my have spent a lifetime of longing...Take heart love, what's meant to be ~ will always be.
Susan

HELLO SUSANJOHN: I always like anything that speaks of love. My favorite speakers of love are women. Why? Because the first speaker of love to me was, Mom. I was but a babe... but I understood every word she said to me. And they made me feel good and happy. Isn't it
a wonderful feeling to,"KNOW," that somebody loves you? And I have imagined that it's even a better feeling to, "KNOW," that you love someone. God bless you, SusanJohn. Cordially: rhonnie69.
