Hi Rhonnie. I don't know if this is the children's book of poetry you were referring to, because I'm not sure what reading level this material is on, and this particular post is actually a story, but it's a great Halloween story!
Halloween isn't my favorite holiday, but this story takes the cake! Or the candy bar -- very funny and well written! And there's really nothing spooky about it!

Cute poem She said trick or treat and he handed over his candy how sweet glad he got it back though because grown-ups supposed to give not take.
