I love everything about this poem. Your word choices make it for me. "Romp" and "cascading" are excellent words, but my favorite by far is "restless." There is so much energy in this photo of the sky. You captured it well. Hope this poem does well. It should.

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem about the winter night sky with shooting stars and the tails light up the sky. A beautiful show to look at on a cold winter's night while snug up cozily in front of the warm chimney.

This is a very lovely and well written 5-7-5 about the stars and the sky for the prompt entry. You used very good words about the shooting stars and the comets. You used very good imagery with the art work. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings, Teri

An intriguing poem that speaks of comets and shooting stars actually 'playing together' in the night skies...a fun imagination! :) :) Thank you for sharing and good luck in the competition! :)

Beautiful! Another amazing contest entry, and another reason I decided I wouldn't stand a chance if I entered. The image of stars romping with comets in a restless sky is terrific! Very well done!

I loved this write because it made me think that there is a whole world out there in the skies that we are not privy too! All those shooting stars and comets that we are missing, but not so here, you are reminding us of the restless sky, love Dolly x

I like the concept you are describing here, but though I have seen meteor showers, I have never seen "cascading comets." Still, the alliteration is nice.

This poem is very visual for me. I felt the chill in the air as I looked at the picture. It was nice and relaxing to think about. The photo that you chose is really nice. Good job on this piece.
