Hello!
Simply beautiful. What a moving and loving tribute to your beloved father. I can see how gazing to the East would, indeed, bring you comfort. My beloved father passed away in 2001. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of him. Even today, so many things and activities of my day remind me of him.
Again, a wonderful tribute.
Best Wishes,
diane

A very well-written 5-7-5 poem and the morning star in the east. It is always comforting to know that the sun will rise again after the long night and the star foregoes the sun.
