Oh my, was this suspenseful. I fiund my heart racing for Max to begin with, hoping the damn thing isn't a bomb, but it porbably is...
Then Rachel just about to be rescued or find some sort of weapon with which to defend herself, and oooops! But the police in near and I wonder how far Luigi can go with that van before they catch him...

Luigi will be speeding now, and that's dangerous too. If Rachel hits him with a tool, the car might go off the road and crash. So what should she do? Maybe we could ask Bowl of Stew.
Hmm... Let's see... She could press a sharp tool into his neck or ear. He will try to stop the car so he can fight her off. He does not want to wreck either!

you are so good, now you have two exciting things going on at the same time, first wondering who sent the bomb,and will Max find a way before the bomb explodes, and then the big cliffhanger, will the police catch up to Luigi's van.

It sounds like Luigi's under pressure, and why not? With many police Cars speeding in his vicinity, and a potential victim in his car.
I can imagine everybody calling Rachel all sorts of names, stupid being the prime one.

The reactions of your characters are very realistic. It is good how you are doing follow-through from previous chapters too. This is so nicely detailed that it could easily be a TV show. The little detail about how you had Jerry hurrying to catch up. As with your other chapters, you create the suspense in a reader grabbing manner. And I also see the pattern of how good the switching of scenarios makes things more excitement. Using the omniscient narrator really works her. I'm liking this writing, voice and style more and more. We are in the van, in the office, remembering what we should have done at home. Good imagery. Great work.
