I read for reviewing but I found a part of me within the picture frame, there I received the gift of living, with the chore of knowing there is a power greater than, amen.

Al,

I have to agree with the words of this wise post. We are made up of all the things we say and do - and we can't escape that --ever. *smile*

Thanks for another interesting poem - good luck!

Alcreator, I believe you are an unconsciously chronic acrostic poet. I just read several of your poems and feel there is no help for you and you continue to deny whom you really are. However, you do have faith, and that may save you from being an unconsciously chronic acrostic poet one day. I wish you well.

There is great truth in this well written 15 word poem. Your comments are right on the money. We are the sum of our words, scribe, actions and expressions.

Well done.
Blessings
Janet

Beautifully written and lovely crafted. A perfect entry for the 15 word poetry contest. I love how we can say so much with so few words. It is the challenge we all practice often. PM

Interesting perspective and form. It has a questioning tone and sets the reader up to question many areas of life and in what way to deal and express. Time seems to be of the essence. Intriguing!

A big message inside 4 lines. We truly are what we say and write, so I think all of us need to improve on these fields. We must think before we say anything, because one day words will become actions. Good luck!

Terrific imagery overall.

Ages ago, there was a 1973 cult film, 'Steambath.' As a comedy, it was a spin on Paul Sartre's play, 'No Exit.'

Your 'departure' line made me think of this movie. Before exiting the steambath, you had opportunities to express/explain yourself before entering heaven (or hell).

Thanks for those memories.

Very well said. Yes. We are what we say and write. And most of us could use some improvement. Me, especially. That is quite a prompt to which you wrote. I'm not sure I could ever accomplish it. Thank you for doing so. At least, I know it's possible. Such sage knowledge. Could have been from Solomon. It could mean your departure from a room, a meeting, this life. Good job.
