I know it's not an acrostic but RISE would be cool for one
We depart then hopefully rise...expressing oneself is rising to the occasion

This is thought provoking, DR ALCREATOR! All that we speak, write, express is the sum of what we are. It's the sum of our essence. We will be remembered for these things once we pass on. In a mere 15 words your poem speaks volumes.

You followed the contest guidelines of 15 words, in 71 characters, in 4 lines, using the words scribe, express. You actually made it make sense, others I ve read look like 15 words thrown together for no reason. Good luck in the contest.

We love because He first loved us. And yes, our base is rooted in our faith. Not religion so much, Jesus said, Love one another as I have loved you." He did leave with us the Holy Spirit for our comfort. We need to look up not down, love is my base for mankind. Thanks for sharing.

Express 'whatever' before departure - could you substitute this word for 'wholeheartedly' or 'consciously' -just a thought
wow, what a 15 word poem can express. This one is intense, deep, and very thought provoking, dear. Well written. The word 'whatever' just seemed off for me, but that's me, you totally can leave it as is. That was merely a suggestion from writer to writer, with love and adoration :) Great image also ... Good luck in the contest.

I must admit, this one was a little harder to grasp, but what I admire here is the will to be different and unique, for even if the vision is difficult to grasp, that does not mean it is not there, and I am sure, without doubt, this is a write worth reading many times , for its understanding is surely worth.

Hi ALD, I can see where you are going with this piece and I like how you yourself have proven that how you speak or write is how we judge you. There is no other way. We cannot see you, hear you etc. But the words you write - 'you are what you speak' is only part of the whole. What about actions speak louder than words? A thought provoking entry to the contest. I've never thought of what you say and do as your base but it does raise a good point. It is kind of the basis of who we are. It shows people right away what we about how we act in situations. You did a great job
