You've written an excellent poem with a solid message for the contest

"The truth will set you free" seems to be the essence of the theme,

I like the structure of your poem and the question the picture ask.

I have been in the company of a few who grope for words they are not used to because they are not happy about transparency. Those types are easy to spot. The rest, yes, what they say reveals their inner being, if they say too much. Then there are the quiet ones, who rarely speak and they are our mysterious ones. Look at all the explanation just from reading 15 words. Well done, I enjoyed your intentions.

I must offer, however, that the phrasing is a bit awkward to me in the last line. I realize you are saying we are all the sum of what we speak, scribe, or express before we leave this world. The last line just doesn't flow very well for me...

What I take from your 15-word poem is that it pays to remember that here on earth while we live our being is revealed by how we express ourselves in all our forms of communication.... but of course, you have expressed it more clearly and simply that me!!

Simple and to the point. For many of us the only thing that will be remembered is what we write and the things we say to those that live on, or something like that. Nicely done.
